Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25 April 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast, and a two-time Olympian. She was leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the in 2016 the "Final Five," U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastics team. She won a team gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have back-to-back gold medals at this competition. Raisman also earned silver medals in the individual all-around and floor exercise. Morgan was born to Pamela Morgan (age 30), and Michael Morgan on July 2 1989. They raised her along with her sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan was a multi-sport athlete throughout her early years, but she was not a fan of soccer until she reached 14. Morgan was a member of the Cypress Elite club team and won the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship. In addition, she placed third place in the bracket for under-19 players. Morgan continued to work on her soccer abilities at Diamond Bar High School. Morgan was named an All-American Athlete by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
